2026 Lifesaving World Championships, they are being held in Nelson Mandela Bay (Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha), South Africa, from 25 November to 13 December 2026.
The championships cover pool, ocean/surf, beach, IRB, SERC and other lifesaving disciplines. The ILS handbook also lists separate Open, Youth, Masters, Interclub and IRB World Championships

2026 European Youth Lifesaving Championships – Ocean events were held at Rossnowlagh Beach, County Donegal, on 5–6 September 2026. More than 70 athletes from nine nations competed.
