Calling all qualified WSI instructors from Cork. We are looking for volunteers who would like to go and give water safety talks in Cork primary schools. These talks can have a reel effect on water safety during the Summer!

Cork Water Safety is always glad every year to get our new instructors all trained up. The last few years this has taken place in Roachestown Park Hotel. If you are interested in becoming an Irish Water Safety Instructor you must have up to Rescue 3 complete, volunteer at one of our locations for 3 class groups(Can be found at the top of the home page)and take part in our training weekends.
Best of luck to the Irish Team especially the 5 Cork competitors competing in European Junior surf lifesaving championships taking place in UL pool limerick and Kilkee over the coming days. CWS would like to congratulate all our surf lifesaving teams who have represented us brilliantly over the summer months! Our 12-14 year olds won the National Senior Nipper Beach Perpetual Trophy for the 2nd year in a row. A great joint effort between our 3 centres of Inchydoney, Warren and Youghal, while our Masters Team who won the combined Pool and Sea Trophy at National Surf Lifesaving Competition 2018! Change of day for Munster nippers. Nipper and juniors competition will now take place on Sunday with a 9am sharp start. We will be starting with Water events for everyone and intend running up to four water courses. See you all at training Wednesday at usual time.
