Cork Nippers win both the Provincial and All Ireland Indoor Nipper Championships for 2015.
Building on their great victories on the beach in 2014, a team of forty dedicated Nippers (age 8-14), who qualified at the Munster Final in Fermoy, represented Cork at the All Ireland Life Saving Championships in Leisure Land, Galway on Saturday April 11th.
Competition was strong with over two hundred competitors from Counties Clare, Waterford, Wexford, Wicklow, Dublin, Louth, Kilkenny, Donegal, Sligo and Mayo. Cork won the competition for the first time ever, finishing first overall with 1,612 points followed by Clare on 1,185 points and Donegal on 1,102 points. Mayo, Wexford and Wicklow were also close behind.
